KCR promises 10% quota for police employees in two bedroom flats

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana Mr. KCR has made a promise to police employees that the Govt. would reserve 10% quota for police Constables, Head Constables, Asst. Sub-Inspectors and Ex-policemen in the two bedroom flats which are being constructed by the Govt. This promise was made by Mr. KCR while addressing a gather at Ghoshamahal police stadium yesterday while paying homage to police martyrs. Mr. KCR said that lands would be allotted to police employees for construction of two bedroom flats near their work place. He also informed that a 24 storey building with all the latest amenities is being constructed at Banjara Hills to house the new police headquarters.

Mr. KCR announced a hike in police uniforms from Rs. 3, 500 to Rs. 7, 000. He also said that registration charges for the allotment of houses for police martyrs would be free. He assured that promotion would be given as per rules to police employees. He told that Govt. will not tolerate terrorism, communalism and white collar crime. He instructed the police officials to crush the criminals involved in these crimes. He also said that there is no place in the State for antisocial elements. The State and the country would progress only when law and order is maintained.

Earlier, Governor of Telangana and A.P. E.S.L. Narasimhan, Home Minister, Mr. N. Narasimha Reddy, DGP of Telangana State, Mr. Anurag Sharma, Senior Officials of the State and Ministers paid homage to police martyrs.
