Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday and invited him to participate in the ‘Chandi Yagnam’ at his farm house in Yerravalli of Medak district.
The Chandi Yagma is being held from 23rd to 27th December. The Governor reportedly accepted the invitation and assured that he would participate in the Yagnam for one day. According to sources, President of India Pranab Mukherjee too is likley to participate in the Chandi Yagnam on December 27. The President is visiting the city for two weeks as part of Southern Sojourn from December 18 and is most likely to attend the Yagnam on the last day of his stay in Rashtrapati Nilayam. (INN)
