Telangana Congress Women’s Wing chief Nerella Sharada has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has scant respect towards women.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Sharada said KCR has benefited politically by eulogizing AICC president Sonia Gandhi as ‘Mother of Telangana’. She also said it was atrocious on the part of KCR for not even giving a berth to women in his Cabinet.
She expressed displeasure over the KCR government for failing to set up a Telangana Women Commission. She lambasted the TRS government for not providing basic facilities to women at Godavari Pushkar Ghats. (NSS)
