Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday signed the files pertaining to notifications to fill 15,000 vacancies in 15 different departments of Telangana Government.
The State Government has also increased the age limit of job aspirants by 10 years from 34 to 44 years. The departments in which recruitments will be done include Agriculture, Medical and Health, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj, Energy, Horticulture, Police, Fire Services, Excise, Commercial Taxes, Stamps and Revenue, Roads and Buildings and Transport.
The State Government will be filling up 8,000 posts of SIs, Constables and other posts in Police and Fire Services Departments. While 2,681 posts in Energy Department will be filled, recruitment will be done on 4,300 posts in other departments. The recruitments will be done at State, Zonal and district-levels as per the existing rules. The posts in Police and Energy Departments will be filled through Telangana State Public Service Commission.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to begin the process of recruitments. (INN)
