Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will leave for China on September 8 to participate in the World Economic Forum conference.
The Chief Minister has been invited last month by the World Economic Forum to attend their annual meeting to be held in China on 9-11 September. KCR will be accompanied with Principal Secretaries S. Narasing Rao and Shanti Kumari, Additional Secretary Smitha Sabharwal, Special Secretary Raj Shekhar Reddy, Industries Secretaries Arvind Kumar and IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.
Besides participating in the World Economic Forum meeting, the Chief Minister will meet heads of several Chinese companies till September 15. He will return to the city on September 16, according to sources. According to sources, the monsoon session of Assembly and Council will be convened three days after KCR’s China visit. (INN)
