KCR attending Amravati fete to win GHMC polls: Yashki

AICC Spokesperson Madhu Yashki Goud on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was attending the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, in view of forthcoming GHMC elections.

Speaking to media persons here, Yashki also alleged that both KCR and his AP counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu have entered into a secret pact to hush up the ‘Cash for Vote’ and ‘phone tapping’ cases. He said now both the cases would not last longer. He demanded that the details of what transpired during the meeting between two Chief Ministers at KCR’s camp office on Sunday should be made public.

Yashki said that although late N.T. Rama Rao used to act in movies, both KCR and Naidu were acting in politics. He said KCR was attending Amravati fete to lure the settler voters in GHMC limits.

The Congress leader also slammed KCR for promoting Yerravelli village of Medak district and said he was acting more like a Sarpanch and not as the Chief Minister of Telangana. He also criticised Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao and said only Rs. 4,000 crore and not Rs. 40,000 crore were needed for Water Grid project. He alleged that KTR has a lavish lifestyle and owns several benami villas and also travels in chartered flights. He said KTR’s lavish lifestyle itself was a proof of irregularities in the Water Grid project. (INN)
