KCR to attend Amaravathi program

Finally it was confirmed that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will make it to Amaravathi capital foundation program at Guntur on Thursday.

According to the information, the Chief Minister will take a helicopter from Suryapet at 10.15 am and reach the destination by 10.45 am. KCR will participate in Amaravathi foundation laying program and stay there till 2.30 pm. As his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu invited him personally, KCR preferred to attend the program by taking a helicopter instead of going by road.

The foundation stone for Amaravathi is scheduled to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while many other prominent leaders are likely to attend the event. The Telangana CM will leave Amaravathi at 2 pm and reaches Suryapet 2.30 pm to participate in some developmental programs of laying foundation stone for two bedroom houses for the poor at Golla Bazaar area in the town. Later, KCR will leave for Eravalli village he adopted at his home district by 4.30 pm and launch the same program. KCR is also scheduled to take up two bedroom house foundation laying program at Narsannapet at 6.10 pm and tour in the village.

The sources said the Chief Minister will stay put in at his farm house in Erravalli and celebrate Dasara festival there on October 22. (NSS)
