KCR asks opposition parties to play constructive role

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has strongly condemned the agitations undertaken by the opposition parties against his government.

Addressing a meeting at Husnabad in Karimnagar district on Saturday, KCR alleged that the opposition parties were resorting to unnecessary criticism against the TRS Government. He said before criticising his government, the Congress and TDP leaders should accept the responsibility for backwardness in Telangana region. He said both the parties have destroyed irrigation and indulged in large scale corruption. Asking the opposition leaders not to obstruct the development of Telangana, he advised them to play a constructive role.

KCR also ridiculed the criticism over the arrests of leaders of opposition parties for staging a protest at the State Secretariat on the issue of sanitation workers. What would police do if opposition leaders storm the Secretariat? He asked.

The Chief Minister also promised to complete Gandi and Gourelli projects of Karimnagar district in the next two years. (INN)
