KCR asks MPs to raise TS issues in Parliament

Probably annoyed at the Centre for not giving equal importance to Telangana State compared to Andhra Pradesh with regard to projects and allocations of funds and houses for the poor and welfare, the TRS MPs are preparing to stall the proceedings of the Parliament session beginning Nov 26. They are most likely to mount pressure on the Centre by storming the podium in Parliament it is learnt. The issues to be taken up are national highways, national status to Pranahitha Chevalla project and bifurcation of high court and allocations of funds and housing for poor. To direct the strategy to be adopted by the party at the Parliament, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called a meeting with the MPs and asked them to rake up prominent issues in the house during session. MPs present in the meeting were Jithender Reddy, B Vinod Kumar, K Kesava Rao, K Kavitha, B Suman, Vishweshwar Reddy and B Narsaiah Goud. It may be noted that the TRS leadership is unhappy with the BJP led NDA Government at the Centre for denying funds towards crop loan waiver and meager allocation of houses to the state, no promise of national status to the project sought and others.
