KCR approves Sainik School for Warangal

As a gift for ensuring historic victory of TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar in by-elections, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has approved the establishment of Sainik School in Warangal.

Speaking to media persons in Warangal on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari informed that the process to establish the Sainik School would be initiated soon. He said people have expressed their extraordinary support for TRS Government and therefore, the ruling party would take all steps for the speedy development of Warangal. He said that KCR wants to develop Warangal as the second biggest city after Hyderabad and plans are being drafted for its overall development.

The Deputy CM has directed the officials to begin works in the Outer Ring Road in Warangal. He said a Textile Park would also be established soon.

Kadiyam said representations were being made with the Centre over the issue of Scheduled Castes categorisation and MSP for cotton farmers. He said appointment has been sought from Prime Minister Narender Modi on December 2. He said Central help would also be sought for the drought hit areas. (INN)
