TRS leader and Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha has accused Prime Minister Narender Modi of doing injustice with Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons on Friday, Kavitha said that the Prime Minister’s discriminatory attitude would cause damage to country’s federal structure. She said while the Centre has released financial assistance of Rs. 8,000 to neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, it did not give any funds to Telangana. Similarly, the Centre has approved only 10,000 houses for Telangana while the figure is 1.94 lakh for Andhra Pradesh.
Kavitha said that the TRS MPs would raise their voice against this discrimination in the Parliament.
Earlier, she, along with Nizamabad Urban MLA Ganesh Gupta and Jagitial Assembly constituency TRS incharge Dr. Sanjay Kumar, called on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at the State Secretariat. Later she informed that the Chief Minister has agreed to increase the 2BHK units by 1100 for Nizamabad Urban Assembly constituency. Further, funds would also be released for underground drainage system.
Kavitha said that the Chief Minister has also agreed to tour Nizamabad and Jagitial constituencies soon. (INN)
