Kavitha accuses BJP leaders of defaming TRS Govt

Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha has accused the BJP leaders of defaming the TRS Government.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, Kavitha accused the BJP-led NDA Government of giving step-motherly treatment to Telangana. She said instead of making representation against the injustices being done with Telangana, the State BJP leaders were criticising the TRS Government. She challenged Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy to question Prime Minister Narender Modi for ignoring release of funds for Telangana State. She also asked him to coordinate with Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya to ensure setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the State.

Kavitha claimed that the Centre has rejected the proposal to set up Railway Coach Factory in Warangal. Further, the Centre has approved developed of national highways for a stretch of only 1200 KM while the State Government had send proposals for 6,000 KM. She said of nearly Rs. 4,000 crore sanctioned for different housing schemes across the country, almost half of the amount has been given to Andhra Pradesh. She said she was not against release of more funds for AP, but the Centre should not neglect Telangana.(INN)
