Jupudi slams YSRCP for baseless allegations

Coming down heavily against the YSR Congress Party for its “baseless” allegations, TDP leader Jupudi Prabhakar today alleged that the YSRCP was unable to digest the work of TDP and leveling baseless allegations.

Speaking to mediapersons at NTR trust bhavan, Prabhakar refuted charges of YSRCP that electrical motors of Handri-Neeva project were being shifted to Pattiseema project. Refuting the reports that appeared in Sakshi newspaper that electrical motors have been shifted, Prabhakar said the YSRCP leaders were not able to digest the successful work of the TDP which completed Pattiseema project in a record time enabling farmers to use its water for irrigation.

At present seven lakh acres could be irrigated and by 2016 it would provide water to 20 lakh acres, he added. He also observed that shifting of motors was not an easy job as it was a time-consuming task, the TDP leader said and alleged that YSRCP was trying to create hatred between the regions.

He further said the credit of interlinking the Godavari with Krishna river goes to Chandrababu Naidu alone, he said and questioned YSRCP whether it likes dedicating Pattisee4ma project to nation or not. He also reiterated that no motors were shifted from Handri-Neeva and motors which were presently working belong s to Pattiseema project only. (NSS)
