Melbourne, Aug 07 : India’s ace squash player Joshna Chinappa crashed out of the Australian Open tournament after incurring a straight set defeat against top seed Annie Au in their quarter-final clash on Friday.
Sixth seed Joshna suffered a 7-11, 4-11, 8-11 defeat against the opponent from Hong Kong in a contest that lasted just 34 minutes.
Joshna had won the Victorian Open at the same venue last week. (ANI)
