Jobless youth plan to storm AP Assembly on Dec. 17

Nirudyogula Ikya Vedika national president Lagudu Govinda Rao here on Monday announced that as part of their agitation program, they would lay a siege to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on December 17.

Speaking to mediapersons, Govinda Rao today said they would submit memorandums to the Opposition political parties on December 15 and would lay a siege to the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission on December 16 followed by storming of Assembly on December 17.

Govinda Rao also demanded that the Chandrababu Naidu government immediately release a notification for filling 1,42,000 vacant posts in various departments and fulfill its promises made to the people on the eve of last Assembly elections. He also demanded that the government conduct re-examination for Group-I posts, give postings to DSC-2014 merit candidates and pay unemployment allowance to the youth. He also demanded that the State government release notification for filling vacant posts of Panchayat secretaries in Panchayat Raj department and for posts of police constables and police sub-inspectors in the Police department.
