GHMC new commissioner B Janardhan Reddy today assumed charges from Sumesh Kumar who was transferred as principal secretary to Tribal welfare department.
Tansfer of Somesh Kumar came as a surprise in a bureaucratic circle as he is reported to had close relation with the chief minister KCR. However, opposition parties have leveled allegation that lakhs of voters names have been deleted from GHMC voter lists.
After taking charge as principal secretary to Tribal Welfare department Somesh Kumar said he is not unhappy on his transfer. The government has right to transfer any officials, he said refuting allegations against him.(NSS)
