Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader S Jaipal Reddy has lambasted Narendra Modi for lowering the dignity of the office of Prime Minister to a level of Municipality ion the Bihar Assembly elections.
Speaking to the media here today, Jaipal said that never in the 70 years History of Independent India, a Prime Minister had campaigned in the Assembly as Narendra Modi did. He also said that the Bihar poll results would turn as a death blow to the BJP. He regretted that even after becoming Prime Minister, there was no change in the communal attitude of Modi.
The congress leader said that the religious fundamentalist attitude of Modi coupled with the statements made by RSS leaders against reservations have resulted in the defeat of BJP and its allies in Bihar. Modi should open his eyes at least now. Reddy also said that the Bihar elections result will have an impact on the Warangal by-election. The Congress will win the election because of the dictatorial attitude of the Chief Minister KCR and his anti-farmer policies, Jaipal said.(NSS)
