Recently complaints have been received regarding alleged irregularities in implementation of minority schemes. Taking serious note on the complaints, government has decided to seek report regarding implementation of bank-linked subsidy scheme provided by Minority Finance Corporation.
Secretary Incharge Minority Welfare GD Aruna and Director Minority Welfare Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber have decided to conduct probe into the irregularities to ensure proper use of the Minority Welfare budget. The irregularities came to fore when the letters of approval were handed over to beneficiaries in a function held by National Academy of Construction. It was revealed that candidates and bank officials in connivance with some elements in the corporation are involved in irregularities.
