New Delhi, Sept.20 : All India Mahila Congress president Shobha Oza on Sunday said that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi doesn’t need to send Union Human Resource and Development Minister (HRD) Smriti Irani behind the bars and added that the latter’s accusations were as fake as her degrees.
” Rahul Gandhi needs not to send her to jail. It is her fake degrees and the law will ensure that she is behind bars and her accusation as far as land in Amethi is concerned of Rajiv Gandhi Trust, those accusations are as fake as her degree,” Oza told ANI.
“She is trying to mislead the people of the country by making false accusations and for that she has received a notice,” she added.
Irani had earlier hit back at the Congress over the legal notice issued to her, saying she is not afraid and is ready to face 100 such notices for raising the voice of the people.
“The Congress had issued a notice against me saying if I speak against the party and Gandhi family then they will take action against me,” said Irani.
The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee had earlier issued a legal notice to Irani for her ‘false and malicious’ allegation that Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust has grabbed the land of farmers in Amethi. (ANI)
