`Injured` Starc not to bowl further in Adelaide Test

Sydney: Australia paceman Mitchell Starc will not be seen bowling again in the historic day and night Test in Adelaide against New Zealand after scans confirmed an early stage fracture in his right foot.

Reflecting on the issue, former Australian Test skipper Mark Taylor said that the 25-year-old was not comfortable while bowling when he bang front foot down, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Starc, who recently joined an elite band of fast bowlers after delivering a 160.4 km/h ball, will, however, be allowed to bat in the match.

The 25 year-old pace spearhead, who limped off the field midway to have scans, was the pick of the bowlers for Australia as he bagged three wickets in the first innings of the opening day of the Pink Ball Test. (ANI)
