Pamphlets were distributed during Ganesh procession issuing a call for unity to majority community on religious grounds. The brochures distributed by Bhagya Nagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi urged Hindu society to embrace unity and it was also tried to dub old city of Hyderabad as Mini Pakistan. Nizam’s era was targeted in the pamphlet. Pleading Hindu society for unity on religious grounds, government and police were blamed of imposing restrictions on Hindu festivals when Hindu-Muslim festivals coincide. Hindus were asked to become united to combat this situation. Mentioning disrespect of Hindu deities, denigration of deities was alleged.

The pamphlet also mentioned a TV channel. The pamphlets were distributed near Shah Ali Banda, Falaknuma and Charminar in which it was tried to distort the image of Hyderabad besides stating baseless allegations to spread communal hatred. It was tried to give impression that Razakar-ideology still persist in old city of Hyderabad which needs to be curbed.
