Indrani Mukherjea down with dengue

Mumbai, Oct.28 : The prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukherjee was on Wednesday admitted to J.J. Hospital here, as she was suffering from dengue for almost a week.

Mukherjea was earlier admitted to Mumbai’s Sir J.J. Hospital on October 3 in an unconscious condition after she complained of “uneasiness due to chest pain”. It was speculated that she attempted suicide by drug overdose. But the probe by Inspector General (prisons) had ruled out the possibility of drug overdose, poisoning or suicide bid.

Earlier, this month, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was given permission by the Bombay High Court to question all the three accused in the Sheena Bora murder case till October 19.

The next hearing of the murder case is on October 31.

Mukherjea and two other accused were arrested in August-end on the charge of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora and disposing of the body in a forest in Maharashtra’s Raigad District, in April 2012. (ANI)
