Indo-Pak talks: NSA Ajit Doval meets Home Minister Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Wednesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh ahead of the former’s talks with his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz. The 20-minute meeting between Doval and Singh took place after it became clear that Aziz will meet Kashmiri separatist leaders during his visit to New Delhi on August 23 for the NSA level talks.

The Home Ministry will provide key inputs about the activities of various terrorist groups in the country as the dialogue between Doval and Aziz will primarily focus on terror, sources said.

Though details of Doval-Singh meeting is not known immediately, the forthcoming NSA-level talks is understood to have figured in their discussion.
