Indian expats shower praise on PM Modi during his second US visit

New York: The Indian expats, who have come to New York in large numbers to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, showered praise on him and said they hope that he keeps up the good work.
Arun Bhai, who came from New Jersey, said that no other Indian leader has achieved what the Prime Minister has to his credit in the last one year.

A representative of the Jai Bharat Dhol Tasha Pathak community said that her group members have come from Philadelphia, New Jersey and Boston to welcome Prime Minister Modi.

“From kids, adults, students and youngsters, we all are very happy to welcome him. We were present outside the Madison Square last year and today we have come here,” she told ANI here.

Bharti Ben Praveen Chandra, another Indian expat here, called Prime Minister Modi a ‘saint’ and hoped that he visits the United States every year.

Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in New York today after his successful visit to Ireland, would be staying at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel here.
