India rope in Gurkeerat for second Test against Proteas

Bengaluru, Nov. 12 : All-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been roped into the Indian squad for the second Test match against South Africa in Bengaluru starting on Saturday.

“Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been included in the Indian Test team and will join the team for the second Test of the four-match Paytm Freedom Trophy in Bengaluru (November 14-18, 2015),” the BCCI said in a media release.

The 25-year-old Punjab player was also included in the preceding ODI series, which India lost 2-3 against the AB de Villiers-led side.

India are currently leading the four-match Test series 1-0 after comprehensively defeating South Africa by 108 runs in Mohali. (ANI)
