India, Pakistan interested in improving bilateral ties: US

Karachi: The United States’ Department of State believes that India and Pakistan now seem interested in promoting greater understanding between the two nations.

State Department spokesperson, John Kirby that the United States continue to welcome the efforts by India and Pakistan to work bilaterally to solve the very difficult and complicated issues like terrorism, the Dawn reported.

At a news briefing, Kirby said that both India and Pakistan have started to work on improving bilateral relations and they now appear to be genuinely interested in fostering greater understanding between the two countries.

However, Kirby also emphasised the need for all South Asian nations to work together to defeat terrorist and terrorism. (ANI)
