The All India Members’ Convention of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind continued for the past four days, concluded at the Wadi e Huda grounds on Monday with the supplication of Maulana Jalaluddin Umari President Jamat-e-Islami Hind.
Various resolutions on National, Community and International Issues were passed during the conclave. Around 10000 members of Jamat-e-Islami, SIO and GIO from across the country attended the convention. Issues like intolerance, incidents of violence, world peace and justice, Islamic world crisis, awareness among Muslim community were discussed. A public meeting on “Reconstruction of society and our responsibility” was also organised as part of the four-day national convention.
An exhibition was also organised based on the details of activities of Jamat-e-Islami on national level. Elaborate arrangements were made for the members who came from various places.
State president Mr. Hamed Mohammed Khan monitored the arrangements while Mr. Malik Motasim Khan, Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin, Mr. Rashaduddin and Mr. Khaled Mubashir Zafar extended their utmost cooperation.
