“If India is intolerant than try Taliban and ISIS” – BJP MP to Aamir Khan; AMU students to file complaint against MP

Aligarh: Satish Gautam, BJP MP from Aligarh triggered another controversy by commenting on the statement given by Aamir Khan on the “intolerance”. He said “If India is intolerant then try Taliban and ISIS”.

Talking about Aamir’s film “PK”, he said that his film which made fun of Hindu faith, Devis and Devtas was appreciated and still if he thinks that India is intolerant then try ISIS or Taliban.

However, Gautam’s statement on the Constitution Day is viewed as “unconstitutional” and the students of Aligarh Muslim University decided to file a complaint against him. Kunwar Mohammad Ahmad, a student leader of the university said that students of the university will file a complaint against Gautam for making “unconsitutional” statements. Another student, Ajay Singh Yadav, a Research Scholar said that the statement of MP is against the spirit of the Constitution.
