RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand business requirements and provide optimum and effective technical solution
Own the responsibility for development of optimum technical solution
Provide estimates, plan the development, package and deliver the solution
Work with other teams, stake holders, vendors to provide seamless integrated solution and services
Lead, train and mentor the team members
Create and sustain open and enabling environment
REQUIRED SKILLS:
6-9 years of development experience out of which minimum 4 years experience development services using Java Technologies
Expertise in JSP, JDBC, Core Java (Multi Threads, Advanced Collections, IO Management & Exception Handling)
Hands on experience applying Spring, Hibernate, SOAP with Axis, JAX-WS, RX, JAXB
Good knowledge on MySQL and Linux is an advantage
Expertise in SQL is required
Understanding of Postgres, Netezza is a huge advantage
Understanding of SMTP, IMAP, POP3 is a Plus
Understanding of agile software engineering processes with unit tests, detailed specs, code documentation, code review and scrum etc.
Strong interpersonal communication and offshore team collaboration skills
Applied knowledge of design patterns and good design skills
Applied knowledge of editors, build and configuration tools
Must have experience in leading team and managing end to end development
Good project and team management skills
Proven very large scale software development experience
Strong personal commitment to quality
Should have ability of refactoring massive code
