I was ashamed of giving my address at Aurangzeb Road

Aurangzeb

New Delhi: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu told that he was ashamed of telling people that he resides at Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi. Now that the name of this road has been changed to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Road, he has no hesitation to tell his address now. He pointed out that the proposal for changing the name of Aurangzeb Road was not given by VHP or Bajrangdal but it was proposed by a Pakistani Muslim Journalist, Mr. Tariq Fateh. He was born in Pakistan and at present he is living in Canada. When he visited India for the first time in 2013, he was astonished to see the name of Aurangzeb Road. He had told the Indian Muslims to demand the Govt. to change its name by replacing it by Dara Shikoh who was the elder brother of Emperor Aurangzeb.
