Hyderabad to get Krishna Phase III water from today

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) is all set to release the water from Krishna Phase III to the city from Monday onwards.

The Board has completed the pipeline work and has released the water for testing. The completion of Krishna Phase III works would augment the water supply by 45 Million Gallons per Day (MGD) and the areas including Prashasan Nagar, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Qutbullahpur and surrounding areas would benefit from it. The Board had added 45 MGD of supplies from Krishna Phase III during last summer. With the addition of 45 MGD, the total supply of water to city would increase to 270 MLD. (INN)
