Hollywood celebs congratulate Serena Williams on her Wimbledon win

London, July 12: Hollywood celebrities including Kris Jenner and J. K. Rowling congratulated Wimbledon’s women’s singles title winner Serena Williams for her 2015 victory.

The Kardashian momager took to twitter and congratulated her daughter Kim Kardashian’s tennis bestie saying that the match was awesome and she played amazingly well, whereas Kanye West’s wife tweeted that she was proud of her tennis friend winning the title, the Mirror reported.

On the other hand, Harry Potter author JK Rowling tweeted that she stood up to applaud for the 33-year-old tennis player on her victory, also American singer Kelly Rowland posted a message for the player on Facebook walk mentioning that the tennis star has won four slams in a row and 21 in total.

Williams’ sister Venus, who got defeated in pre-quarters by her sister, added that her star sister has won another title adding another star on her shoulder.

Also US President’s wife Michelle Obama tweeted her huge congratulation to the tennis ace for her win at Wimbledon sharing that she’s proud of her.

Other stars who wished the American tennis player included model Gigi Hadid, American basketball player Chris Bosh, American football quarterback Russell Wilson and American actor and model Colton Haynes.

In return of this love, Serena initially shared that she doesn’t have words to describe the feeling she has right now and then thanked everyone for their warm wishes and support. (ANI)
