Key Qualifications:
5+ years of designing databases using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle in a professional team environment
Experience creating all key database objects Tables, Views, Triggers, Indices, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Dynamic SQL
Excellent SQL skills development and tuning skills, with the ability to generate complex SQL queries from an entity-relationship diagram
Ability to troubleshoot/resolve complex database issues
Strong database performance tuning experience in a RDBMS environment
Strong general ETL / data integration experience; specific experience with SSIS is required
Proficient in database modeling and designing with a focus on performance and scalability
Experience in developing/managing large-scale databases for cloud based enterprise systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to achieve results within tight deadlines
Demonstrated strong problem solving ability, logic and analytical skills; ability to estimate, plan, and prioritize work
Good technical aptitude and sharp at learning and using new technologies.
Description:
Provide architectural/database technical expertise to team concerning methods, procedures, and standards to be used during design and development phases
Responsible for the overall application database model, ERD, physical model/implementation, stored procedure library, and all data queries and ETL processes
Focus on performance tuning SQL queries, table design, indexing, query plan analysis and SQL refactoring
Assist software developers with the creation and maintenance of robust, scalable database code, and evaluating new and existing code for performance and scalability
Research database technology, determine business requirements, propose changes, and develop migration and implementation plans
Perform database design reviews, applying best practices and standards
Ability to independently provide time estimates for database related tasks
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering / IT or MCA
