Hindu Mahasabha President Swami Chakrapani buys Dawood Ibrahim’s car to set it on fire

Mumbai: Swami Chakrapani who is the President of Hindu Mahasabha bought car of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim on Wednesday.

According to a Zeenews.com report, the auction of the car took place at Hotel Diplomat in South Mumbai.

Swami Chakrapani had said that he will bid for the car to buy it so that he can set it on fire.

The starting bid of the Hyundai Accent (MH-04-AX-3676) car was priced at Rs 15,700. The green sedan had been parked at a government society in Ghatkopar for the past four years and is in bad shape with burst tyres and shattered windshield.

The government agency had appointed a private firm to hold the auction under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Properties) Act, 1976.

Local police force was deployed at the site to keep a watch at the event.
