Following the publication of report in Siasat Daily regarding ineffective arrangement during Hajj Camp, high officials of Minority Welfare Department sprung into action and tried to set right the things on war footing. Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel who has returned from US visit, immediately reached Hajj House soon after the publication of the report, although he has not resumed office. He made 3-hour long detailed visit to Hajj House and pointed out the shortcomings.

Incharge Secretary Minority Welfare G D Aruna also contacted Hajj Committee authorities and asked them to sort out issues. Consequently 25 fans were installed for pilgrims staying at under construction building and accommodation for elderly pilgrims was arranged at the ground floor.

Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor directed the concerned contractor to ensure provision of facilities as per the contract, and warned that otherwise Hajj Committee would take action against it.
