Washington D.C., Oct.6 : After his shocking HIV-positive revelation, Danny Pintauro has now spilled the beans on how he contracted the virus.
In a recent interview, the 39-year-old actor, who was previously addicted to crystal meth, said he had used protection with the man who he believes he got the virus from, and actually contracted the disease through oral sex, Us magazine reports.
“Believe it or not, with this guy I was actually safe. We did use condoms. I got it another way, which was through oral sex. When you put all of these nasty things together, like a compromised immune system, having been up for a long time, drugs, rough sex, all of that combined with lesions in your mouth, bodily fluids, it’s that easy,” ‘The Beniker Gang’ actor added.
Pintauro, who did not reveal the name of his sexual partner, said that he had forgotten the man’s name and had been searching for him.
Pintauro has started his ‘Beacon of Light’ Tour to create awareness about HIV and the dangers of crystal meth use. (ANI)
