Harley-Davidson updated line-up in India gets costlier

New Delhi: US cult bike maker Harley-Davidson has introduced updated versions of its various models including Street 750 in India, which would now be priced at Rs 4.52 lakh compared with Rs 4.32 lakh earlier.

Besides, the company announced the relaunch of its tourer bike Road King priced at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

“This year, Harley-Davidson has introduced its refreshed Dark Custom models with the new Iron 883, Forty-Eight and carried out customer-led improvements in the Street 750 motorcycle that offers an authentic, affordable experience to a new generation of riders in India,” Harley-Davidson India Director Marketing Pallavi Singh said in a statement.

Keeping up with the customer demands, the company has also added more power to its range with the return of the Road King, she added.

As per the latest prices announced by the company, Street 750 has become expensive in the country. It used to retail at Rs 4.32 lakh earlier.

Refreshed Iron 883 and Forty-Eight are now priced at Rs 7.37 lakh and Rs 9.12 lakh, respectively. The company used to retail them earlier at Rs 7.22 lakh and Rs 8.82 lakh, respectively (all prices-ex-showroom).

An updated Heritage Softail Classic is now priced at Rs 16.60 lakh as against Rs 16.45 lakh earlier.
