Harish visits Kaleshwarm Pushkar Ghat

On 10th day of Godavari Pushkaralu, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao expressed satisfaction on the arrangements made even as devotees thronging in from various places to take a holy dip at their choicest places.

Harish today visited Kaleshwaram in Karimnagar district and inspected the arrangements at the pushkar ghats. We have allowed one-way traffic to Kaleshwaram area pushkar ghast to enable the people reach without any inconvenience he said. Ministers and MLAs concerned are inspecting the pushkar facilities at all ghats in five districts and arrangements with complete security measures will be on till the end of the festivities.

The minister stated that they are providing free darshan for the devotees by cancelling VIP and Break dasrhan for the pushkar activities. He gave pat that in spite of raining the officials could coordinate to make hassle free darshan after the holy dip, Harish Rao said that six lakhs devotees came to pushkarlu and completed the rituals on ninth day and arrangements have been made in such a way that the people take darshan in a comfort and speedy manner. To ensure smooth flow and movement of the traffic parking was set up in 40 acres of land nearby he said.

This is proving handy as the people ,coming from far off places and other districts can park their vehicles here he said. The minister also said that the devotees can take free transportation facility to pushkar ghats in buses and auto rickshaws from the parking area. (NSS)
