Hajj Stampede: Indonesia supports Iran’s slamming Saudi Arabia

Jakarta: Indonesia heavily criticized Saudi Arabia for its slow response to the Hajj Stampede in Mina and said that Saudi diplomats accessed to the dead and injured pilgrims days after the incident.

Health Ministry of Saudi Arabia notified 769 persons as killed and 934 injured in the stampede accident.

Mr. Lalu Muhammad Iqbal of Indonesian Embassy informed that they could get access to the dead bodies only last night. It is reported that Five Indonesian Hajj pilgrims died in the accident, ten were injured and 90 are found to be missing.

Earlier Iran which is the Shiite archrival of Saudi Arabia criticized the Saudi Sunni kingdom for this unfortunate incident. People have been protesting near Saudi Embassy in Tehran.
