Preparations for Hajj camp to begin from August 31 have begun from Monday. Erecting of shade and other arrangements has begun on war-footing as time is short for the Hajj camp to begin. Hence all the contractors have been directed to complete the arrangements by August 29. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that tenders have been allotted for arrangement of four main works including Visa arrangements for Hajj aspirants, supplying company, maintenance and supply of vehicles.
Embarkation of Hajj pilgrims will begin from September 2 and departure will be complete within one week. Daily 3 flights will take off.
Meanwhile joint review meeting of various departments will be held on August 20 in which officials of 22 departments will take part.
