Haj pilgrims departure starts on 27th September

(Siasat News) The departure schedule of the Hajj pilgrims of A.P. State starts on 27th September. Travel arrangements have been made through Saudi Airlines. They will reach Madina first and then proceed to Makka. They would start returning to Hyderabad from 24th October after performing Hajj. Central Hajj Committee has made arrangements for 8022 Hajj pilgrims of Karnataka for their departure from Hyderabad airport. Arrangements have already been finalized for the departure schedules of the Hajj pilgrims going from 21 places in the country through Saudi Airlines. Spice jet will carry Hajj pilgrims from 11 places. Hajj camp of A.P. State Hajj Committee will start two days before their departure. The last contingent of the Hajj pilgrims will depart on 19th October for Madina. A.P. Stat Hajj Committee has decided to send the pilgrims in the first phase itself.The second phase is likely to start in the first week of October.

Saudi Airlines will operate its flights from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengalore, Calicut, Goa, Kolkattaa, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur & Varanasi. Spice Jet will carry passengers from Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Goyal (Bihar) Guwahati, Indore, Jaipure, Mangalore, Ranchi and Srinagar.

The Hajj pilgrims of A.P. will first go to Madina by 27 flights and their return journey will start from Jeddah. Daily two flights will operate from Hyderabad. Saudi Airlines is considering to operate one or two jumbo flights also.

Mr. Syed Khaleeluddin, Chairman of A.P. State Hajj Committee told that the schedule of flights of A.P. Hajj pilgrims has not been confirmed by the Central Hajj committee but it is probable that it will be confirmed soon.

He told that after his return from districts tours, he will get the instructions issued by the Minister of Minorities Affairs. Instead of three phases, attempts are being made to send the Hajj pilgrims in two phases. It is reported that the Hajj pilgrims of A.P., Karnataka, U.P. Bhopal, Nagpur and Varanasi will be sent in First phase and the remaining pilgrims will be sent subsequently.
