Gutha warns KCR against attending Amravati ceremony

Congress MP from Nalgonda Gutha Sukhender Reddy on Sunday warned Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao against attending the stone laying foundation ceremony of Amravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, Sukhender Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was meeting KCR not to give invitation but to broker deal to hush up the ‘Cash for Vote’ case. He said both KCR and Naidu were trying to divert people’s attention from the ‘Cash for Vote’ case.

Sukhender Reddy also slammed Ministers K. Tarakarama Rao and Jagadish Reddy for criticising Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy. He said KCR considers Jana Reddy as his guru. He claimed that as the minister during Congress Rule, Jana Reddy sanctioned Rs. 50 crore for KTR’s constituency and Rs. 70 crore for Jagadish Reddy’s Assembly segment for development works. He said both KTR and Jagadish Reddy have completely neglected Jana Reddy’s contribution. He also condemned them for targeting TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. (INN)
