Patna: Grand Alliance hands humiliating defeat to NDA. The Janata Dal-United on Sunday expressed hope that it will form the next government in Bihar. JDU also said that Nitish will become CM again.

“Be it Patna region, Bhagalpur or any other region, we will soon pick up leads and results would be in our favour as the counting proceeds,” JD-U spokesperson Nihora Prasad told CNN-IBN.

 

Meanwhile, MIM has taken one lead in the Bihar election in Baisi with its candidate Ghulam Sarwar. The seat is currently held by the RJD’s Abdus Subhan.

Counting of votes polled in the five-phase assembly polls began on Sunday.
