Hyderabad: Failing to clear the Land acquired by government, Ilyas Ahmed attempts to commit suicide by consuming chemical poison.
The incident took place here on Thursday at Golf Course at Golconda where the victim, Ilyas resides.
Ilyas, who is now undergoing treatment and is under doctor’s supervision, took the extreme step as the government fail to replace his land allotted to Gulf Park.
The 21 acres land was allotted to Ilyas’s father Mahboob Khan and other army officers by the Nizam Army. Ilyas was fighting the injustice on behalf of other pattedars also and the case is waiting for the hearing in the High Court.
During Chandrababu Naidu regime, the land was allotted to Golf Course. Late former CM of united AP Rajshaker Reddy promised to replace the land but failed in his attempt.
CM K. Chandrashekar Rao and Deputy CM M Mahmood Ali too promised but none kept it.
Neither Politicians nor the law are taking appropriate steps to resolve the issue. The other pattedars are also threaten to take similar steps in future if it situation continues to be the same.
