Give hope to farmers: Srihari tells Oppn parties

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today stressed the need for united efforts by all political parties to create confidence among the farmers to prevent suicides problem.

Talking to media persons at Warangal on Saturday, Srihari asked the farmers not to lose hearts and take help from the government. He termed suicides as unfortunate which should not recur in future. “Unless the leaders of all the political parties put in coordinated efforts, the farmers would not relent”, he said. He also said that no farmer would be seen on roads for fertilizers in 15 months as they took steps in advance, he averred. Credit for offering uninterrupted power supply goes to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he claimed.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the KCR government was committed to overcome this problem. KCR informed the Assembly about the steps being taken by the TRS Government to address the impending problem, Srihari said. He urged the people to vote in favour of the TRS candidate in the ensuing by-elections in Warangal soon.
