GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy directed all the Deputy Commissioners and Zonal Commissioners to take up the work pertaining to pot holes, manholes etc., on priority basis and ensure that all the road repairing works in the entire limits of the GHMC are completed by the end of the December this year.
The Commissioner said that the GHMC is planning to deploy Road Doctor, IRT vehicles and trying its level best to complete the pending said works within a stipulated time. He appealed to the citizens of the twin cities to extend cooperation and give their suggestions. He also requested them to furnish the details of locations where the road repairing works need to be taken up.
Dr. Janardhan Reddy further directed the Deputy Commissioners and Zonal Commissioners to arrange mobile toilets / permanent toilets at places where weekly markets are being set up. He further directed the officials to involve celebrities and representatives of Residential Welfare Associations for works pertaining to sanitation, Entomology and street lighting.
The Commissioner instructed the Deputy Commissioners to take proper care with regard to BC voters’ enumeration. He also requested them to furnish all the details with regard to BC voters’ enumeration. (INN)
