Srinagar, Sept. 19 : Separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Saturday gave shutdown call in Kashmir over the Sopore killings of former militant and his son.
The victim, Bashir Ahmed Bhat, who had quit militancy after serving a prison term, was attacked near his residence in Sagipora.
Sources reported that, Bhat and his three-year-old son were injured after unidentified militants struck at his residence.
Both were rushed to hospital, but Bhat succumbed to his injuries on the way, while his three-year-old son died this afternoon. (ANI)
