New Delhi: Looking undoubtedly stunning, actress Gauhar Khan walked the ramp for Delhi-based jewellery designer Akassh K Aggarwal on the second day of the fashion extravaganza India Runway Week 2015.
With his ‘Boudoir Collection,’ Aggarwal showcased a recreation of an Exotic Royal Indian era of grandeur, splendour and preciousness of jewellery vanity.
The floral n faunal motifs and combinations of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, sapphires, citrines and several other semi-precious stones gave great aesthetic pleasure.
Resonating with symbolism, the collection also exhibited fine techniques in filigree motif, stamped light weight metal sheet work, embossed 3D and vibrant metallic colours of gold and silver.
The jewellery collection was followed by the display of creations by designers Rishi and Soujit, Kanika and Sugandh, Bani Pasricha, Divya Shah and Lipsa Jain, Pallavi A. Agrawal, Purvi and Aanal, Ankita and Akshita, Ishan Jain, Urvashi and Sukanya, Preyal and Amisha, Nidhi Kejriwal and Ojasvita Mahendru.
The fifth edition of the fashion gala, which began on Friday and will continue till Sunday at Talkatora Stadium, will feature around 40 designers in combination of runway shows, presentations and special events.
