TRS legislator Ganesh Gupta has lashed out at the Congress and TDP leaders saying they have no right to speak about villages.
Speaking to mediapersons, Ganesh Gupta said the Congress and TDP leaders were alone responsible for the pathetic condition of villages in the State. The Opposition leaders were not able to digest the soaring popularity of the ruling TRS due its welfare and development programs, he said, adding that the Telangana TDP leaders were still polishing the shoes of Andhra leaders.
Asking the Opposition leaders as to why they were not praising the good works being done by the TRS government, Ganesh Gupta said the KCR government had achieved distinction of paying Rs 9.76 crore arrears to red-jowar farmers while the previous governments had acquired dubious distinction for causing police firing on agitating farmers. Stating that the TRS government would ensure uninterrupted power supply to farmers in the near future, Ganesh Gupta warned they would not tolerate if anybody made baseless criticism against Chief Minister KCR and the State government.
