Four persons commit suicide

A 30-year-old man committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling allegedly due to family problems.

According to Alwal police, the deceased, P. Raju, was found hanging at his residence in Shiva Nagar on Monday morning. He reportedly had an argument with his wife over some family issue in inebriated condition on Sunday night. He is suspected to have committed suicide later in the night.

In another case, Baba Ali Pasha, 23, of Alien Colony, who had set himself ablaze on September 4, died at the OGH on Sunday night. According to Pahadishareef police, domestic problems are suspected to have driven Pasha, an auto-driver, to suicide.

In a separate case, J. Shankar, 47, a barber, was found hanging at a tree near his residence in Yadagiri Nagar of Falaknuma on Sunday evening. The reasons that led him to the extreme step are yet to be ascertained, according to Chatrinaka police.

In a difference case, a 35-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train near Lalaguda Railway Station on Sunday evening. The deceased was later identified as Rahul Sampath, a carpenter, of Addagutta. He was reportedly upset since his wife left him about two months ago due to his habit of consuming liquor, according to Secunderabad Railway Police. (INN)
